Biography
Estelle works as a bioinformatician at NBIS, and belongs to the "Evolution and Biodiversity" team. She tries to unravel the mysteries of non-model organism genomes (plants, birds, insects, marine creatures) with genome assembly, annotation, and transcriptomics.
Estelle holds a PhD in Bioinformatics from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. Before joining NBIS she worked at SLU (the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences) in Alnarp, Sweden.
