Dag Ahrén

Dag Ahrén works as manager for the Microbiology, Immunology and Structural Biology team.

Dag did a PhD at Lund University, Sweden and a post doc at the Comparative Genomics Group at EBI, Wellcome Trust Campus, Cambridge, UK as well as at Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH), Greece and has an Associate Professorship in Genomics. During his research career, Dag Ahren has aquired an expertise in both environmental science and bioinformatics. The topics has recently been focused on metagenomics as well as genomics of non-model organisms from unicellular microorganisms to complex plant genomes.
