NBIS contributes to clinical application of diagnostic test for prostate cancer
In an NBIS Partner Project, the research group of Johan Lindberg (KI) and collaborators, including Markus Mayrhofer (NBIS), has developed the ProBio assay, a precision medicine diagnostic test for metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer that now transitions from research to application
Karolinska University Hospital in Sweden now offers routine diagnostic testing of cell-free DNA in patients with metastatic prostate cancer. The test is the result of a long collaboration between Johan Lindberg’s team and Scilifelab platforms (Clinical Genomics and NBIS) in the ProBio prospective clinical trial study. (Read more.)
