Yuan Li has a background in biology and a PhD in the field of molecular evolutionary genetics at the Biology department from Lund University. She worked as postdoctoral researcher at the computational biology and biological physics group at the theoretical physics department at Lund University. She then did a short project on algorithm development for single cell data analysis at BRIC, Copenhagen University. She later on worked as a bioinformatian at the Biomedical Center, Lund university, performed single cell/bulk transcriptomics data analysis on neural development and Leukemia for two research groups. She is joining, as an expert, the NBIS Heath and Clinical Team in March 2023.
