Thomas Källman completed his PhD in Functional genomics at Uppsala University in 2009. Both during his PhD and his following post-doc he collected and analyzed population genetic and gene expression data.

Thomas has since he joined NBIS (formerly BILS) in 2014 worked with analysis of gene expression data from model organisms.
